Animal Sounds toys

W really seems into animal sounds. I'd like to get her an animal sound spinny wheel thing, or a book with sounds. I just spent 20 minutes on Amazon and now I'm frustrated. Do you have one that you really like? Or any toys that LO is really diggin right now?

I have to order some things so the kid will have something to open on Christmas

We have a little people tree house and it has spots you can place the animals and they will make their animal sound. DD loves it.

Mellissa and Doug have animal sound puzzles. When you put the puzzle oiece in, it make the animal sound. Quinn loves them!!

We have the little people farm too. I don't think my kids like it as much as other people's kids because it doesn't get a ton of play (my kids are way more into cars). But I see people swear by the LP toys. Leo is really into books with buttons down the side for sounds. James is giving him a couple of the Priddy sound books for Christmas.

DH & I make some awesome animal sounds. Our kid can do an elephant, monkey, and lion since those are our best - haha

L has the see-n-say, but doesn't really get the concept, I think the arm is too difficult to pull for her.

She loves the Little People farm.

Oh, I forgot about that one. We have the original magnet set for the fridge. The boys love it.

Not a toy, per say, but DS loves the Peek-a-boo Barn app on our iPad. It costs 1.99 but it has a ton of noises and keeps him distracted for quite a while.

I have the LP farm and she's like Meh about it - but I got it a long time ago and the pieces are who knows where. I have a couple of the melissa & doug sound puzzles and she's not quite there yet.

The see & say by fisher price........ that's why I got frustrated... I read the reviews and people said a kid can't pull the handle. Leap frog has one and the reviews said there are too many animals and the sounds are bizarre. So, while entertaining, it isn't necessarily educational.

We have this, too... worth paying for it. ANDPLUSALSO currently the animals are dressed for Christmas, which is flippin cute.

There's an Usborne book called "Noisy Zoo" and Nancy L O V E S it. That's when she learned the elephant sound! :-) I know @Terri_Doula2010 is having an Usborne party tomorrow--you could PM her for the info. :-)

The FP S&S is loved, but the handle is difficult to pull. @jessk86 can your kid pull it or do you have to? L is a beast of a child that can lift most things she shouldn't be able to (a gallon of milk!) but can;t get the hang of the S&S.

We have the see and say, Colby can't do it on his own. I want to say Keagan was about 2 when he could do it on his own. It's not about strength it's coordination.

Because they don't make it anymore. Don't pay 100 bucks for it. I bought it for like $12. But I will sell it to you for 50 if you really want it

@flamingemu he can pull it... and can get it to make a noise about 80% of the time. It took a lot of practice though!!
