Ha, I am probably going to list a lot of things people have never even heard of. And ten is not easy, but here it goes:
1. Manowar - Battle Hymn 2 Judas Priest - 98 Meltdown live 3. Bathory - Blood on ice 4. Grave Digger - Tunes of War 5. Metallica - Kill 'em all 6. Rage - Ghost 7. Doro - Live 8. Annihilator - Double live 9. Overkill - Old School 10. Blind Guardian - imaginations from the other side
Really, though, we could add any album of the bands above, as long as it would have been coming out before 2008 (a lot of them have published utter crap since or have made dreadful remixes). And we should add AC/DC to that list, with every album they published but especially highway to hell.
God, I could probably post my top 100 Albums here...
My list would include eminem so i figure I should sit back and lurk this post. Keep them coming please.
the Marshall Mathers LP eminem's third album was great! So don't count him out. I'll have to post and run but I'll work on a list.
Edited to add list: Fall out boy- under the cork tree Kelly Clarkson- break away The spill canvas- no really I'm fine Maroon 5- sounds about jane Three days Grace- self titled debut album Across the universe soundtrack Nsync- no strings attached Breaking Benjamin- we are not alone Britney spears- circus Paramore- the final riot (even though its live)or brand new eyes.
Albums are even harder. You have to like the whole thing or at least most of it. Grease Grease 2 (awful movie, but funny songs) The Black Album by Metallica Pornograffitti by Extreme Licensed to Ill by Beasty Boys A Chorus Line by the original Broadway cast Pretty Hate Machine by NIN An Innocent Man by Billy Joel The Little Mermaid soundtrack (so I'm a very old kid 1 by the Beatles
New Kids - hanging tough (y'all knew I'd put that one first) New kids - Step by Step U2 - Joshua Tree Guns N Roses - Appetite for Destruction John Mayer - Where the light is Ray LaMontagne - Gossip in the Grain Pearl Jam - Ten Dr. Dre - Chronic Stone Temple Pilots - Purple N Sync - no strings attached
Based on the criteria of being loving to listen to them from beginning to end and being able to listen to them over and over while still loving them, my favorites would be:
