2nd Trimester

Morning sickness for the first time....

I never had morning sickness....not once. Until this morning. I'll be 17 weeks tomorrow. Has that happened to anyone else? I find it odd....

Also just in time for my flight today :(

  • i thought i was going through the same thing last week but after being sick for almost a week i realized it was a horrible stomach virus:(  Hope you feel better soon!!!!
  • Thanks I'm just worried because I'm at the airport and not sure if I can make it on the plane. I will be mortified if I puke while flying! Lol. Of all days.... :(
  • Yes, I had this happened to me recently.  I am 17 weeks. It started about 15.5 weeks out of the blue.  At first, I thought it was a virus, but I still have been having it in small waves and 1.5 weeks has gone by.

I don't have any idea why, but I have found unisom (the tabs not the gelcaps) plus b6 taken at night helps.

I have an RX for Zofran, but it makes me so constipated that it isn't worth taking it.

    Good luck!

I didn't get morning sickness with DD till the 2nd tri. It was also right before flying. I threw up multiple times on the flight and that wasn't even the worst part. We flew into ATL and the flight attendants made me stay on the plane while they sent someone to get a wheelchair since I was looking quite pale. I ended up getting pushed in a wheelchair though the ATL airport and then parked in a row of old people in wheelchairs to wait for my connecting flight. Now that was mortifying!

Oh no! At least you can laugh at it now. Luckily it's passed. I took Dramamine, wore sea bands, ate crackers and had some ginger candy. All seemed to help! Thankfully!

Good think I had my elective ultrasound yesterday and am still smiling at that....otherwise I would be mad at the little one! :)
