Tell me all about glasses

We're gearing up for 1 year, which is when they are going to give M glasses, unless her vision has drastically improved.  Any tips when selecting?  Did your LO keep them on?  We have zero success with hair ribbons...  Anything else you can tell me?

    Thanks for all the info!  I really hope we can find someone to adjust them here--the closest place that sees babies is an hour+ away.  M is the chewiest baby I have ever seen so a warranty is def a great idea.
