So, I hear a lot of people telling me that sleep tends to get better after 9-10 months. I'm wondering if this is because they tend to be done mastering all the basic milestones by then and therefore, no need to keep waking?? I dunno.. maybe wishful thinking?? haha DS is meeting all the milestones on the early side so I'm wondering if this is why his sleep is sucking lately.
In my experience (but my LO is only just shy of 6m), sleep gets better, then there's a set-back, then it gets better, then there's a set-back, LOL. But so far it just continually gets better as they get older. I think mama's of 1-2 year olds and even toddlers older than that will tell you they have set backs too. I know my friend with 2yo twins is up every few hours cause they keep on passing a cold back and forth to each other. Teething, illness, whatever! My theory is that we just need to roll with the punches and that whatever set-back we are going through, know that it doesn't last forever!
