C section tomorrow morning!!!!

Hi Ladies , the time has come...... I have to be in hospital at 7:30 am tomorrow to finally meet my DS!

Any last minute tips or things I should pack that are a just for section mummies and babies?

So anxious right now.... Frantically cleaning house and packing!

    I used the thin, cotton texture sanitary pads to stick to the inside of my underwear at my incision.  That stopped the incision from catching on my underwear and from having any leakage stain them. 
    The big thick pads they give me at the hospital didn't have a sticky back, so they wouldn't have stayed in place like the pads I brought.

    Good luck!  Get up as soon as you can after your c/s.  Trust me, it helps.  I was up the evening of my c/s and walked around the halls a bit and was only in the hospital 2 1/2 days total before they let us go home.  Also, those sexy mesh undies they give you are awesome.  Get as many as you can to take home.  

    Enjoy every moment of your first days together.  They grow up WAY too fast.  

    Oh, and screw the housework.  Sleep as much as you can today.  It'll be a loooong time before your not exhausted. :D

    If you have to cough, hug a pillow! Make sure your taking stool softeners. Congratulations!!!
