I confessed in FFTC that I let DS watch TV and at my parents he watches a lot of TV... I'm okay with it, he watches a lot of Disney Jr, Nick Jr and PBS (Sesame Street, Curious George, Daniel Tiger).
DD was watching TV a lot more than I wanted while my mom was sick. Now that we're back home it's not on, but somehow she picked up a strange love for youtube videos. I am trying to break her of that habit.
Yup...I like noise in the house when I'm home alone. She loves Mickey Mouse clubhouse and Doc McStuffins. Only pays attention occasionally though. Pregnancy exhaustion has not helped her tv habit!
I'll let them watch Mickey Mouse Club House around lunch time. Most of the time they ignore it, but sometimes they'll watch for a minute or two. Then we watch news and our recorded shows after they go to bed. Here's a pic of them being mesmerized during the MMCH theme song! (Also, an awesome shot of their mullets!)
I have the tv on a lot mostly as backgorund and sometimes just the channel that plays music. He doesn't really "watch"TV. He really isn't interested yet.
Welsey watches whatever we are watching mostly. He does love the Mator toones on Netflix so I will usually put that on if he is really upset and nothing else is working. He only will pay attention for a minute or two and then its off to something else. I like to have the tv on for background noise when we are home alone. He loves dancing to any music that playing. My little man knows how to shake that diaper!
I always have the tv on for noise, but she pays it no mind. Except for Chica on sprout. She loves that chicken. And sometimes we'll put the goodnight show on Sprout on before bed. She seems to enjoy the music.

Same here. She will stop whatever she's doing if she hears that chicken!!
Not too much now that he's walking and entertaining himself with exploration of things he shouldn't be (like the trash! Or toilet water!). But he watches a show in the pack and play while we both get ready for work in the morning. Sometimes we put it on in the car if he doesn't nap during long car rides. He watches Charlie Brown or Pingu. FWIW, it's Netflix...for some reason I feel better that there are no commercials at least?
She'll dance if Yo Gabba Gabba is turned on, but she's mostly into music. I used to watch Mickey with her when she was smaller and it would make her sleep/cuddle, so sometimes I will put on the theme song to watch her lose her MIND.
The only thing she really watches is "What Does the Fox Say." Obsessed. She knows the "words..." Fantastic parenting
I have already posted about my DD's love for this video...or really any synth pop video.
