Vacuum stops her crying within seconds every time - even the hysterical crying. We have a fan on in her room at night for noise but I don't think any noise actually helps her sleep
Luke is terrified of the vacuum. Meltdown every time.
He likes to sleep to nature sounds, especially crickets.

This kid may not have a lot of bowel, but he has plenty of guts! DS born at 34 weeks with (surprise!) gastroschisis turned short bowel syndrome. 131 days in the NICU, 7 trips to the OR, G-button, daily TPN....
We are impatiently awaiting the day we can say goodbye to his girlfriend Ivy for good.
We use white noise in the nursery for naps and overnight. She seems to prefer the "water noise" of the 4 or 5 choices on our Snugabunny swing for swing naps. Lullabies always seem to entertain her and keep her awake.
100% white noise. We tried many other things because DH hated it, but it's the only thing she liked. Now he's gotten used to it and even misses it when he's out of town!
