Question for helmet or band wearers

The orthodic place where we got it said not to have LO wear it in the car seat, anyone else get the same advice? It's becoming a pia

    Really?? That seems odd to me - did they say why?? They didn't say anything like that to us. Just an hour or so off at night for her bath and cleaning it.

    We were not told that. The car seat is one of the flat spot contributors! Maybe they think baby will get too hot?

    This is what I was thinking... the car seat can definitely contribute to the problem/flat spot, so I would think you would definitely want to wear it in there!

    I'm not sure why he said that but I think I'm going to start having her wear it in the car.  She will end up having it off longer than the 1 hour, especially if she falls asleep in the car.
