I am currently off of work for this bad pregnancy but looking to really stay at home next year for my babes. Dh is a realtor which is considered self employed. This means we will have to purchase healthcare on our own for a family AH! I've researched some big companies and even Obama care ( don't even get me started on this topic insert eye roll) and couldn't find anything under $800 a month. I am in Ohio where the cost of living is low so $800 a month is a lot! Does anyone have a good provider or ideas how they've found affordable health care being self employed. It stinks that the only thing it will come down to (me working or not) is health insurance . I would like to learn about a Mha if you have any details. I also plan to do something part time for extra cash and my sanity but I'm pretty sure I wouldn't get benefits.
Re: NBR health insurance for the self employed
Anyway, I found it by comparing plans on ehealthinsurance.com, so you could check out what's available in your area on a site like that to help you know what the rates are like from different providers without having to call for quotes from each of them.
