ER question: yeast?

Hi ladies,

Quick question. I had retrieval today. So Wanda got to roughly visit lady land. I also started the doxycycline. And I am feeling some itching and burning that makes me think of a YI. Wondering is it just from this morning?

If it is a yeast infection could it compromise my transfer?

Sorry if it is a gross question for you... I am just neurotic :)

IUI: met with clinic 01/13 - due to SA results - straight to IVF
IVF Cycle 1: Long Lupron Protocol with fresh transfer and ICSI
Baseline U/S 11/27/2013 - Lining 3mm and good to go go stim action!

    I would try some non-sugar cranberry juice and yogurt if you think it could a YI... Stay away from sugar until you are feeling better.(Yeast thrive's on sugar and could make it worse, if that's what it is) I have no advise on the transfer, but hope this at least helps :) Feel better!

    You're just now starting the antibiotic? If you're having a lot of symptoms I'd say it's most likely a YI, definitely check in with your Dr, maybe you can do 1 of those one dose yeast infection treatments?? I would think it's not prime conditions for transfer, you know? I know it's common with antibiotics, but I didn't have this issue, so I can't really say one way or another.

    ((( hugs))) I had a YI with DS and it made me want to stick a knife up my Judy and scratch the crap of it! Worst feeling ever!

    The burning of the vaginal cream actually felt good!

    Lol the nurse actually told me "honey your vagina looks awful!"

    No :( my doctor doesn't think I should get hung up on development numbers ... So Fert report is tomorrow.

    Apparently, no concerns for transfer with a yeast infection. She said I can Monistat the outside if it bothers me. Otherwise I just let it go for now.

    I am going nuts wondering how our 4 little eggs are doing!
