This check-in is not necessarily
exercise-related - I know a lot of us are trying to eat healthier and give up
bad habits thanks to the motivation of pregnancy/new baby, so any kind of
getting healthy is welcome here! |

Re: ~*~ Tuesday's Getting Healthy Check-In ~*~
Hello! Baby bonding time is the 6-12 weeks you can take when your maternity leave is up. I didn't take it right after and instead went back to work. I thought taking it during the holidays would be better!
DS born 6/2013
This week- I have a session with the trainer at my gym tomorrow. I'm really excited. I generally tend to neglect strength training, and I feel super lost not being able to run or do pretty much anything that I usually do. So, he's gonna help me set something up that will work my butt off, but allow my leg to heal.
Goal- Things keep coming up that continue to make me reassess my goals. Right now, I guess tone up, and try my hardest to lose these last few lbs.
QOTW- Pizza all of the way. I swear I could eat pizza everyday. There are so many delicious kinds that I don't get tired of it. I feel like Bubba Gump when it comes to pizza. Pepperoni, BBQ chicken, BLT, white pizza, spicy sausage, hawaiian... Yah. Pizza.
Next week: try and eat reasonable again. So hard with all the parties! Find time to run at least twice.
Goal: regular pants by Christmas. Not looking so promising, but at least my size 8s are feeling looser.
QOTD: wine and cheese. Like not healthy amounts of protein cheese, more like and entire wheel of Brie in a sitting cheese. GD I love cheese!
This week is more of the same. The workouts are super intense this week. My legs were burning today!
My goal is still no muffin top in those size 4's! I buttoned 6 different pairs of them this weekend and two I would've worn in public haha soooo close!
My guilty pleasure is carbs! Pasta, pizza, bread. Yum yum.
