Baby Acne Cure

Hi all! So my baby got baby acne right at her one month mark. It started on one cheek and spread all over her face, head, ears, etc. I consulted Dr. Google and figured it was baby acne, however my MIL freaked me out and insisted I take her to the Dr. As I predicted, Dr. agreed with me and told me it was baby acne and not much you can do. She did mention that there is an old wives take that breast milk can help clear it. Well...I tried it. And it worked!!! Sorry about the long story but too excited not to share! Hope this helps anyone else who has the same issue.

    CJs butter is a cure all in our house too. We have multiple containers throughout which we labeled butt or face. I have tried a few scents but always go back to unscented because the others smell too sweet for me.

    Breast milk is seriously the cure for everything. If it doesn't work coconut oil wil! Lol. I used breast milk on DS clogged tear ducts and it helped a ton. We had a bad experience with ODS and he ended up needing surgery to probe his ducts so I want to avoid that surgery if at all possible.

    My LO has some acne, but mostly around her mouth I thought breast milk was causing it so I've been cleaning her face after feeding (little piggy) I guess I'll just leave her to bask in it lol

    So do you just apply and let it dry? I'm going to try this right away! We asked dr yesterday and she said it looks like a combo of acne and mild eczema. Thanks for the tip!

    Yeah I just express a little while he's taking a boob break and use my finger to dab it wherever I see spots. They may just be clearing on their own by coincidence, but it has worked for us. I tend to think the antibacterial properties of breastmilk would help the situation, right?

    I also just hand expressed a little and dabbed on the spots and let it dry. I think that might be it. It's also supposed to be effective on eczema.
