Eating in his sleep?

Dmitri's been weened for weeks.  He started "nursing" in his sleep shortly after. He just lays there, sound asleep, sucking on nothing.  It's really loud and wakes me and DH up.  Is this weird or normal?

    LO does this sometimes. I used to notice it more when I would nurse/rock her to sleep and put her down. She still does it but I do not notice it as much since she is in her own room and I hear her on the monitor. Plus she sucks her thumb so now she wakes up and puts her thumb in her mouth instead.

    When Bryson used bottles, he did this a lot.  It's so funny.  I think he's stopped now because I haven't noticed it.

    Sounds cute! I have never noticed K doing that, but I have heard him talk and giggle in his sleep a lot. The best was the other day when I heard him say "uh oh" 3 times in a row while fast asleep.
