We spend Christmas Eve at my parents house and this year we will be there for Christmas dinner as well. We wanted to have Christmas brunch at our house.
So far Im going to be making :
Belgian waffles w/ fresh fruit topping.
deviled eggs
croissants w/ diffèrent spreads
bacon
breakfast sausage
Anyone have any good recipes or suggestions for food choices?
Re: Christmas Brunch Ideas..
6-10 eggs
Splash of milk
2 cups of cheese
1 lb sausage
6 slices of bread
Salt/pepper
1tsp. Yellow mustard
Brown and cool sausage. Beat eggs, milk, and mustard then add the sausage. Break the bread into small pieces and put into egg mixture. Add about 1 cup of cheese. Pour into a greased baking dish and sprinkle the rest of the cheese on the top. Cover with foil and refridgerate overnight. Bake covered at 350 for 30 minutes. Uncover and cool for additional 20-25.
@2013sarableATX those Bisquick sausage balls are seriously one of my favorite brunch (or any time of the day) treats.
I hear brunch, and I think mimosas.
