Blue for a girl?

I'm not really a pink person so when picking out my daughters Christmas present my husband and I happily agreed on the blue. Now that it's arrived, I'm second guessing our decision. Is blue appropriate for a girl? Does it seem weird? This is the blue kitchen I'm referring to:
(It also comes in white or red, which I didn't like. Maybe pink would've been better)

I should also add, the blue isn't a teal-like as the picture appears. It's more of a pastel blue. But I'm glad you all think it's okay!

that kitchen is adorable. your daughter won't even think, oh it's not pink. she will love it!

gender and color really don't mean a lot to me- DD has toys of all colors. no worries!

I think it is so cute! It looks like a retro 50's blue kitchen. Super cute. Definitely works for a girl or a boy.

That thought was also in my mind while purchasing! But my luck I'll have two or three girly girls and a blue kitchen haha :P

My DD's nursery is dark blue. Blue is my favorite color, and we definitely have way more blue stuff than pink stuff.

I need to be done shopping for J. I keep seeing stuff he "needs" to have. My bank account can't do it. Also, I forgot to keeo money aside to buy something for SO. Now I'm panicking!

I love blue on and for DD! No one thought it was inappropriate for her to sit in a blue bumbo with a blue seahorse. I'll take it if you don't want it.

It is hard! I keep seeing things and I'm like "Caroline would love that"! It's just a fun age:) I think we're done too!

Like PPs I think it looks retro and ok for boy or girl. I think blue is more gender neutral thank pink. So you cant go wrong with blue. For big ticket items I've been trying to go neutral for DD just in case we have another LO and its a boy. LOL! For x-mas we got her a step2 kitchen that is tan and green. I also got her a grocery cart but it ONLY came in pink or blue. So I got the blue for DD.

I think it is adorable and perfect for a girl!

DD has lots of blue clothes because I just like the color. Today, she wore navy and grey striped leggings with a grey and navy Hope College sweatshirt. No pink but totally adorable.

After 3.5 hours it's finally assembled so we're keeping it! It's adorable set up:)

I think I was a tad insecure about this purchase because everyone always calls her a boy, even when she's dressed head to toe in purple! I don't think she looks like a boy, she just doesn't have much hair.

If it makes you feel any better, DH said it was super easy with well written instructions, just time consuming. He did it during her afternoon nap and finished after dinner. It's adorable set up and just the right size to tuck in the guest room closet (which also doubles as a playroom) when she's not using it!:)
