It is all good news ladies!

14DPO beta = 155
20DPO beta = 4236!

My doctor is very happy with that number. So much so that he moved up my first u/s to next Tuesday!  I will be exactly 6 weeks. I am excited and anxious. I know 6 weeks is really early so I am unsure of what we will see. What did you see at 6 weeks??  My OB said he will do another u/s 2 weeks later but he wanted to check on my progress before Christmas.

    Yay!! Great numbers :)

    At my 6 week, I saw a gestational sac, yolk sac, fetal pole and heartbeat :) , but don't worry if you don't see a heartbeat. Sometimes you can't see it it that early. GL lady!

    Congrats! At 6w seeing a HB is about 50/50. I didn't see one at 5w and change, but that gestational & yolk sac is now terrorizing my Christmas tree.

    Awesome numbers! I had my first u/s at 6w2d and we saw a heart beat but that was only transvaginally. We could only see an empty sac abdominally. Good luck!

    Wow, congratulations! That is a huge jump!!!! So exciting and so happy for you lady.

    At my 6w u/s I actually saw a little baby shrimp, a yolk sac, and a very strong hb of 145. Some people see just the sacs though, some see the sac and fetal pole, etc., it all depends. Don't get discouraged if things don't seem as advanced, but with numbers like that I hope you can see more :)

    Good Point! I do not know for sure if it will be a transvaginal or abdominal scan. I'll find out soon enough. Thanks for the input!

    Wow!! That is a crazy increase!  We saw a blob with a heartbeat. LOL I was 5w5d.


    BFP #1 ended in MMC. Discovered Oct 2005 @10w5d, baby stopped growing around 6w. D&C.
    BFP#2 Nov 2005. Baby's heart stopped @ 8w3d. D&C Jan 2006. Trisomy 18
    BFP#3 Nov 2006. My "miracle baby" DD born 7/25/07
    BFP #4 11/6/12. EDD 7/16/13~my birthday! No sac found @ 5w1d, betas not increasing. Natural m/c started 11/20/12.

    I'm so very happy!! I saw a HB in the 110's at 6 weeks, which is normal for such a new heart. I can't wait for baby Raz PIPs!

    We had a hb at 6w3d. The tech didn't even try the abdominal she went to the dildo cam.

    Great numbers!! So glad they are getting you in before Christmas. I believe at 6 weeks you should see the sac, yolk sac, fetal pole and maybe a heartbeat but not always. I didn't have my first u/s until almost 7 weeks so I am not sure that early.

    those are great numbers!!! i guess it depends on when you O and what you'll see.  i saw a HB at 5w4days but i'm measuring 6 days ahead now.

    i just went with my BFF on Friday when she was 5w6 and we just saw a Yolk Sac.

    I had an us at 6w1d and we saw gestational sac, yolk sac , fetal pole and a hb at around 120. Hope you get to see a little flutter for Christmas :) yay for great betas!! Sounds like you are right on track!! :)

    I wanna LOVE this 100 times! Yay for rising betas and excited doctors!!! Sooooo glad its good news again today. One appt at a time. So at our 5-6 week u/s, really it just looked kinda like a blobby tadpole to me. Depending how you measure (how far along you ACTUALLY are), you could see the heart beating and a big head attached to a tiny body, or it could just mainly still be the sac and be a blobby baby, as DH dubbed baby girl initially. But its crazy how much that'll change in just a week or 2s time. So don't get discouraged if you go in and measure, say 5 weeks 4 days instead of 6 weeks on the nose - just means baby Raz implanted a few days later than the 'standard' estimate based off your LMP assumes. They had me in for u/s this time at 6 weeks (measured 2 days behind), 8, 10 and 19 so far. I'll say the 10 weeker was the one where I really was like "omg, that's a baby, with arms and legs and everything!" Can't wait to hear how it goes though!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 

    PS - Go in assuming transvaginal. Most techs won't do an abdominal for measurement until the anatomy scan btwn 18-22 weeks b/c you can't see as much.

    I didn't have my first u/s until the 7th week so I can't help you out there but it looks like you got great insight from other Bumpies who also had an early u/s :)
