I'm 17 weeks and have had two 5-ounce glasses of Chardonnay since being pregnant. None in the first tri, it was just recently. And I measured in a measuring cup because I'm OCD, but was craving a little glass on those two occasions! I know that red wine is ok in small amounts in moderation, but I'm curious for your take on white. From what I'm reading online it seems to be considered ok, but I'd like to hear from other mamas who are having a little wine every now and then. I feel guilty, even though I know it's not a big deal!
Re: Chardonnay anyone?
I got my head bitten off by a midwife about having a glass of wine but then my OB said everything is ok in moderation.
I think it's okay. As long as you don't go off the deep end

I don't really see a difference between red and white wine when it comes to drinking while pg. It's all fine in moderation. Some mommies have even had a few sips of beer.

On a better note, red wine is supposed to relax your uterus.
I'm not sure, but surely it's coming soon.
Sorry for the double post. Damn mobile bumping!
This is amazing!
But she did seemingly create another profile. It is cuppycakeluv or something similar...so if you see any posts from a newbie with a similar name, but on the look out.
