WooHoo! Our complete gut and remodel is finished (well, there are a few punchlist items to finish but it's basically done)! I moved everything back in this weekend and I made sure to drink lots of water and take breaks.
These before & after photos are not the best, but you get the idea. I am so happy to have all the kitchen stuff out of the nursery so we can finalize the space for our LO. We are just so excited and thrilled with the result. Yay!

Great work!!
Looks gorgeous!!
(Seriously though, how much do you love the counters? Putting our quartz counters in was such a big decision but I love them SO much!)
Love it!
Thanks for all the kitchen love ladies! It took 8 weeks from start to finish and I LOVE my contractor. The cabinets were built by a cabinet maker and then stained. I think IKEA kitchens have very similar lines, which I obviously like; but not an IKEA kitchen. We did look there to see their options but the size of our space was awkward and we would loose too much space going with fabricated. I love all the little details we were able to incorporate by doing a custom kitchen: a cookbook bookcase, special bar area, taller countertops and a tall bar area (DH is 6'6"), special pullouts with cool organizers, etc. If I never see another white ceramic tile in my life I will be happy! The hood is getting lots of attention, LOL! My DH really wanted a pot filler over the cooktop in the backsplash but we cut it out. He still talks about wishing we kept that in. I think he only wanted it for his home beer brewing and not for me making pasta and pots of soup but whatever.
We had so much fun designing it and making it our own.
Best part: we have a dishwasher now!!
It does feel amazing to be finished and to all those ladies still in construction, you will get through it! It will be so worth it once our LOs are here
