Monday Morning Vents

We went skiing this weekend and left the girls overnight for the first time with my parents!  It went GREAT.  The 23 mo old (who is still nursing) didn't wake up ONCE for my mother at night. Of course.  And slept from 7 pm to 7 am without crying at all.  The toddler also did great. 

Then last night with us, the 23 month old went down at 7:30 pm and woke up at midnight until 2 am and would NOT SLEEP at all.  She wanted to play.  What the hell? My mother insists the baby can "smell" me around.  Great.

    My husband's workplace laid people off today, including two people I know.  He wasn't impacted, thank goodness, but it's made me terribly depressed all day.  I can only imagine what the families of the people who were laid off are going through.  Blergh.

    So glad you had a great time over the weekend! Hopefully tonight is full of rest....boy that stinks.
