My friend posted an article on homeschooling on fb, and there's a good and thoughtful discussion going on that I'm following. I'm selective about my friends list, I'm glad there are no crazies!
Mondays morning are the baby and me classes at the library we usually go to. I still haven't gotten into the swing of things being home and forgot about it for the 2nd week in a row (although to be fair last week DD was sick so I wouldn't have taken her anyway). We could go to story time tonight to make up for it? I'm feeling kinda lazy so I think no, we'll just stay in the house today.
I just ordered Christmas presents for the girls. Don't know why I did that, because I watched them pass a post-it note back and forth for 30 minutes yesterday. Even so, I caved and got them some toddler jewelry since they love to wear my necklaces, and a Sofia sofa.
I skipped work today and have felt guilty all day. We just spent the weekend at my in laws where it was freezing, because they only use space heaters and the high was only 20 something. Plus we had to take h truck because we were there to help them move and his heater quit working and the temp outside ranged from -5 to 6 degrees. We also got back after 1 and Alexis didn't want to go back to sleep. She finally went down some time after 3. After h finally got done unloading he asked if I could call in sick because we discovered my battery had died and he didn't want to take me to work and he needed sleep and he knew if I went to work Alexis wouldn't let him and he still has to work tonight. He also felt we needed a day to recooperate, but I feel so guilty.
I have a meeting today, sort of a progress report for my facility, and I am a little flustered because last week my boss basically said, "don't bother presenting X results until you also have Y results." But the timing to get Y results is at least a week's lag after getting X (and he knows this), so my options today are: present nothing, present new X with no Y, or present last week's X again with new Y.
I kind of want to cancel the meeting and say we need a week's lag time now in order to have the 'complete' picture from here on out, but I don't want to make it seem like I'm trying to get out of something.
Un solicited advice. Summarize x from last week present new y. Next week you will have the lag time you need. This weeks meeting will be shorter.
what year is your corolla? mine is a 2007 and it has started to make a noise when running, but still runs fine and no engine lights. I just had my oil changed at Pep Boys and they didn't mention it but I'm taking the car back soon to get new tires and I think I will have them check it out then.
