This check-in is open to anyone that is part of the SAIF community and is currently TTC again, either on their own, or via injectibles, IUI, IVF, adoption, etc. Occasionally, I do a bit of clean up. If you have dropped off and would like to be added again, just comments and you'll be back in business

TTC again, even after successfully bringing home a LO (or multiple LOs) is a stressful process for all of us, and this group is meant to allow us the opportunity to provide support and suggestions to one another, and to receive the same in return.

A check-in will be posted every week. Please send me a PM or reply to the check-in post if you would like to be added to the group. Each check-in will provide the opportunity for you to provide an update as to where you currently are in your TTC.

QOTW: Do you go all out with holiday décor or keep it minimal?

AKB090609- I had an us yesterday to check for cysts since I'm on cd48. The tech saw 'something', but of course couldn't tell me what. Waiting is hard.

Byrne15 - TTC #3, no treatments this time. Just hoping for success the old fashioned way

Ducky719 – Still just DTD...sorta I guess. DH and I haven't really done anything lately. We are lame.

Cbubbles2 - currently TTC on own, FET in 2014

Mayzie15 - MH and I are still trying naturally and I know I NEED to get back to my RE but I go back to work Jan 6th and just want to enjoy my last weeks with my DS. I did get my tests results back and my FSH is 10.9 and my AMH is .98 . Not fantastic just need to do the AFC to see what it shows.

PappsMcGee - planning to go back to seek treatments when ready (FX for a surprise for you in the mean time!)

Robeano -It's been a while since I posted, still waiting to get my first period since I had Hannah. I don't think I'm ovulating yet. But I got time to wait! But we're not preventing at all, so you never know!

TTC, with treatments

BabyKsMommy - We just got back from disneyland were I ovulated like I thought I would so we just did TI with clomid this cycle. Hoping for the best Christmas present ever!

Bellalou - Surgery on 12-20 to remove tied tube. FET process will start following cycle

CAL416 - pending SA, b/w and SHG prior to IUI w/Clomid

carrera317 - Still on Estrace twice a day. BW and US on the 11th, fingers crossed all is good and we can transfer soon after that.

ccam - I'm still waiting on AF and hopefully will be able to start Lupron on day 21 of my next cycle for a January FET.

Dizzykates - Trying the old fashioned way planned IUI in June

Efhoping2010 - Both my mammogram and annual pap came back clear so that is a relief. DH said last week if we cycle again he wants to only go where we had success and where he had the easiest PESA surgery, far away in my hometown where there is no option of CCS testing. I reminded him that the RE there said our best chance was to transfer anything viable which rings huge alarm bells for DH who does not want high order multiples. I reminded him we transferred three embryos at day 3 with IVF # 3 and ended up with nothing. Not sure where to go with the situation, any thoughts? It could get three cycles at clinic 1 for the cost of one at CC*RM. My chances of success are also very low there though

Emwaiting - TTC #2, I have never checked in before. We had to do IVF for #1 and we were lucky to have IVF work on the first try. DS is almost 3 months and I am currently on day 4 of Provera. I will start Clomid and Femara after AF arrives, monitor follicles and then do timed intercourse and see what happens. Drs think our best chance for #2 is to try ASAP and we are sooo lucky DS is such a good baby!!!

Eve_Angelique - Triggering with ovidrel tonight and then TC. Had a great looking follie today so I am hopeful!

Hopeful1981 - TTC #2, currently on CD34 waiting for AF to start so that I can embark on my IVF cycle. I have endo and have been on Lupron since CD23. Will be stimming with Follistim and Menopur.

Kaf7 - I am on cycle day 4 now. Will start suprefact day 21. My meds that were being shipped from across the country are lost now though!!!

Kdfecarie - Well we had our check and all went great! Blood work all normal and my lining is at 12mm, so good to go there too! Transfer on the 11th! hoping I don't get snowed in and cant fly! I am trying to fly down a day sooner than planned so that I can make sure its all clear! Winter is hard!

Kingme - Hoping for FET in July/Aug/Sept ((Huge hugs))

Kissies - Update: So AF finally came almost 5 days late after failed cycle so I'm officially on my fet calender. Going for bloodwork tues. potential date of transfer will be dec 11th.

LeoLauren - I'm TTC #2, ivf #3. ER will hopefully be on Friday or Saturday.

mdiblasi10 - In the 2ww for IUI #3. Beta is Dec 16th.

Mnerani - This is my first medicated cycle trying for kiddo #2. I have PCOS and I'm on CD 4, taking Letrozole CD 3 to 7. I'll also start Gonal-F from CD 4 to 9. We are hoping to do IUI #1 late next week.

MoFree - I am playing the waiting game and won't test until next Thursday at the earliest. I am trying to keep very busy and to not micro examine every possible symptom.

nycbride0707 - I go in Sat for one last check, and then hopefully everything looks good and transfer in Sunday, with beta 11/19. Been doing PIO since Tues, man I'm sore!

PennyLane26 - Still waiting on AF to get started on pre-cycle testing. I have annovulatory cycles every once in a while so RE told me to call after CD40 to get meds to kick-start AF. CD40 is on Friday so I will probably call on Monday. While I'm excited to be pregnant again, I'm not in a hurry to start all of this with Christmas around the corner, so I'm totally okay with AF showing up later than expected!

Rjade9 - I'd like to be added! We have our appointment with our RE next Thursday to come up with a plan for our FET. In the meantime we are not, not trying

CallMeAl - BFP, edd 2/26/14. We had a fetal echo appt on Tuesday which went really well. They are watching a cyst in DS's brain, but they said most resolve on their own. We'll get another look at it in about 7 more weeks

Mcgeeva - No news here! Doc apt next Monday.

RoseHQ12 - 24 weeks & so happy to be at this point. GTT today & looks like I passed phew! SCH still lingers, it's my other "baby" at this point!

Imoverit – Had u/s Mon and cervix and baby look good. Im pretty sure the tech accidently gave me a pic which shows the gender but I could be wrong. Still going to be team green either way.

Mr.& Mrs. Woodtick - We had a level II ultrasound on Thursday and while I wanted to remain team green this time around DH found out and couldn't keep it a secret. We have to go back and have another U/S in two weeks as its still really early and everything they check for hasn't formed yet. This has been so scary and I really hope everything is fine.

TJ1979 - 16 weeks today. Feeling better most of the time. My back is hurting REALLY badly, but other than that sometimes I forget I'm pregnant. Loving feeling deuce wiggling around in there!!

Cwhitaker27 - I'll be 11 weeks tomorrow. We told our families on Sunday at "our Thanksgiving". I just told the doctors I work with today since I was off mon/tues sick and throwing up all day. They were/are very supportive so that's great! We are telling the rest of our family and friends via our Christmas card next week. Overall still feeling very sick but happy to let the cat outta the bag mostly.

Saraevh - Noah Christopher was born on December 3rd at 8:01am via c-section. He was 7lb 7oz and 19.5" long!

QOTW: I would say our holiday decor is more minimal. We do candles in all our windows and garland with lights around our front porch columns. I decor the fireplace mantel, wrap the banister in garland/lights and, of course, our Christmas tree! I use lots of red and gold throughout and all white lights DS is obsessed with our tree and it's the first thing he runs to when we get home. He stands there until I turn the lights on.

Oh and holiday decorating for me is a festive tablecloth and maybe some chocolate - who am I kidding? There's always chocolate.

Still waiting on AF to get started on pre-cycle testing. I have annovulatory cycles every once in a while so RE told me to call after CD40 to get meds to kick-start AF. CD40 is on Friday so I will probably call on Monday. QOTW: I decorate for all holidays, but I go crazy with Christmas. That being said, I do my best to fit the decor in with the style of my house so that it doesn't look like Santa's workshop - much more simple. Lots of mercury glass and white christmas lights. I'm still hanging onto the white lights but DH is adamant that we decorate with colored lights once G is older. While I agree we'll do colored with toddlers/school-age kids, I'll miss my white lights!

QOTW: We always decorate for the holidays, but this year we bought a lot more to decorate our new house. We were so excited to be able to fit an 11 ft tree now that we have higher ceilings. We are completely kids at heart

Update: I'll be 11 weeks tomorrow. We told our families on Sunday at "our Thanksgiving". They were already suspecting something since we told DS early on and he already blew "the secret" by telling my mom shhh there's a baby in mommys tummy. We tried to play it off since my sister was pregnant saying he says that about everyone. Haha.
I just told the doctors I work with today since I was off mon/tues sick and throwing up all day. They were/are very supportive so that's great!
We are telling the rest of our family and friends via our Christmas card next week.
Overall still feeling very sick but happy to let the cat outta the bag mostly.

QOTW: we usually decorate inside and put up icicle lights outside. This year we put up a lot more lights outside and a blow up snowman just for DS since he's in love with lights!! I thought our house looked amazing until I saw @mdiblasi10 's house!! Beautiful!! And @ccam your tree is to die for!

QOTD: Depends on the year weather we go all out or not, most of the last 7 years have been hard, as I have received bad news on christmas, but this year our son is enjoying it all, so we went all out for him! He loves the tree, and the glitter, and the beads, and everything! So this is a big year!!!

Now if I can get a little christmas miracle or two it would be the best christmas so far to date!

I am on cycle day 4 now. Will start suprefact day 21. My meds that were being shipped from across the country are lost now though!!! We are investigating where they are but I am worried that the suprefact will have frozen en route and I don't know whether to use it or not when it gets here. If I get the prescription filled now I will be 100% oop. Uggghhhhhhhh I think even if it arrives I won't know whether it froze during its journey or not if it has defrosted when it arrives. I am super annoyed that I paid $120 for overnight shipping and it didn't get here today. And they can't find it. QOTW: we have lived in small homes and we put up a fair bit in our living room but that was it. Now in our new house I am looking forward to gradually doing more in each room. Likely this year will still be living room heavy.

QOTD: We are Jewish and do not celebrate Christmas so we don't have a tree, holiday lights or and other seasonal decorations. We light a menorah every night and use multicolored candles. That's the extent of my decorating.

@mcgeeva Thank you!! I really don't do much. He's so obsessed with the tree and when we turn it on he's always like "Ohhhhhh". He will take a few ornaments off the bottom, but we put all the non-breakable stuff within his reach. He's been pretty good with it! I would hate to do a gate, too, so I think we got lucky.

QOTD: Here in Kenya, people don't really decorate for Christmas the way they do in the States, so you can't find much decor to buy in the stores. But we did buy a tree, and brought Christmas lights from the States. It doesn't quite feel like Christmas when it's 70 degrees and sunny, but I can't really complain.
