Congrats to everyone for making it here! This check-in is for graduates of the 2IF board (and any other secondary infertility grads). If you are new to the check-in, please let us know your due date and you will be added for next week. There have been a couple more recent BFPs in the 2IF community lately, and I hope you ladies will join us soon!

Me: 42. DH: 46.
1st Pregnancy: MC, 11/19/00.
2nd Pregnancy: DS born 04/10/06.
3rd Pregnancy: CP, 03/11.
4th Pregnancy: MMC, D&C 11/30/11, Genetic testing revealed Trisomy 4.
5th Pregnancy: Ectopic, 2 doses of Methotrexate unsuccessful, surgery 4/10/12, right tube removed.
Tried Letrozole January 2013-July 2013 (including 2 IUIs), all BFN. After 2 1/2 years of trying for child #2, decided to "give up" after July cycle, based on AMA.
August 16, 2013: BFP our first month of "not trying!" Still in shock. Beta #1 (14dpo): 183. Beta #2 (17dpo): 611. Ultrasound 8/30/13: baby measured 6 weeks, 1 day, heart rate of 118 bpm!
Ultrasound 9/13/13: 8 weeks, heart rate of 176!
Baby is due 4/26/14

I'm 19 weeks.... almost half-baked! Yippee! No appointments or updates. I'm feeling really good, more energy and not having to pee as much, which is nice during the night. My parents get here today from GA, so I'm excited to see them.
We had a quiet Thanksgiving, just the three of us, pigged out at home and then went shopping (first time I've ever done that on Tgiving). It was a nice day. Parents will be here this week, and then we will have a quiet Christmas/New Years at home this year. We got our tree and Christmas lights up over the weekend, and I can't stop singing holiday music. I love Christmas!

So tired! Have not slept well at all the last couple of nights.

Thanksgiving was back in October for us (Canadian), we spent it with my IL's. Christmas is likely just going to be the three of us at home. I'll be nearly 28 weeks and I'm scared to be any further from the hospital than I already am. Plus I don't think I'll feel up to travelling.

It's triplets!!
1. How many weeks along are you? 18 1/2 weeks!
2. Any medical updates (appointments, ultrasounds, tests/results, etc.)? Had an appointment last Wednesday. No anatomy scan. Have to go see a specialist for that since OB doesn't have the high-tech equipment. OB said she could see baby's sex on the screen but we told her we didn't want to know. I hope she didn't write it down or doesn't accidentally spill the beans! Then, I had my 2nd trimester blood draw for nuchal.
3. How are you feeling lately? Still have this stupid cold. I'm on day 9 of being completely stuffed up. I'm starting to wonder if I'll ever taste food again
Other than that, no major pregnancy symptoms to deal with other than heartburn

We spent half of Thanksgiving with my family and the other half with DH's. It was so much fun, again, aside from my stupid cold. For Christmas, we go to mass on Christmas eve (we're Catholic) just DH, DD and me, and then head over to my mom's for dinner and a special visit from Santa. Then on Christmas morning, we have our special family time and Christmas evening, DH's family will come over. We won't be doing a gender reveal since we're team green, but we are going to surprise DH's brother and sister with a "Godparent" book to ask them to be baby's godparents. They'll be floored. MIL will definitely cry.
@tryingyetagain, I decorated yesterday and love the decorations too!! It was 85 degrees here yesterday so it felt weird. I love to put out the decor when it's cold and rainy but that's pretty rare. We're getting our tree on Saturday, my birthday. Yay!

We hosted Thanksgiving for 9 adults and 3 kids and it was great. Over the weekend we got our tree and decorated...I love Christmas!!! We have a few holiday parties with friends and family coming up, Christmas Eve with my in-laws, and Christmas day with my parents and extended family. If we do the MaterniT21 test we may either announce the gender at Christmas, or have a small gender reveal with parents/siblings if we can't wait that long!

3. How are you feeling lately? I am feeling pretty good except for the nausea.

Anyone share (or plan to share) their big news or have a gender reveal at the holidays? Thanksgiving was great. Just a small group of family at my aunts and uncles. Christmas Eve is always spent with DHs side (very small) and Christmas with my much larger extended family at my great aunts house. I don't know about telling family then it's just so early but I'm sure we will be asked by some and it will be hard not to share the good news with others. I think it really just depends on how our next few appointments go.

1. Due date is July 31 (will have scheduled csection about a week before).
2. I have my first ultrasound on Dec 13th with my RE and my first prenatal appointment right after at my family doctors office where I will get referred to an OB.
3. I'm feeling pretty good. Just bloated and extreamly sore boobs.
4. Christmas plans are just getting together with family and dinners. I don't plan on telling anyone until after the first trimester and I'll only be 9 weeks at Christmas.

3. How are you feeling lately? Exhausted and nauseated. I'm having a hard time finding food and drink I can stomach.

DH and I both have divorced parents, so we live the movie Four Christmases every year. I hate it. We aren't planning on saying anything until after our 12 week appointment in January.

2. Any medical updates (appointments, ultrasounds, tests/results, etc.)? Had my last appt with the RE this morning. Measuring right on track, heartbeat of 125! The second sac is almost reabsorbed as expected. My first OB appt is next Tuesday, which I am assuming it is just bloodwork.
3. How are you feeling lately? Nausea has set in. It is much harder this time around trying to take care of DS and act normal for him and keep his schedule. Anyone have any tips?

They were so happy for us, and there were definitely tears. We will probably tell my brother and SIL in a few weeks because they know about our struggles and will be asking. I think we will wait until after the new year to tell DHs family in person, and we won't tell DS until after first trimester. We visit my family for a few days over Christmas but make sure to be home on Christmas day. We used to stay with them for Christmas day but wanted our own traditions too.

Currently 32 weeks (will be 33 weeks on Thursday). Next appointment not until the 17th. Nothing much to write about other than typical 3rd tri aches and pains. I've been having a lot of back aches lately and the last few days my tailbone has really been bothering me and I've been feeling nauseous again. Trying to suck it up and not complain, but seriously wondering how my poor body is going to last another 5 + weeks.

For Thanksgiving my DH's mother and step-father came. It was nice to see family and we also had Christmas with them since we won't see them again until after baby girl is born. With the extra help we got many more projects done, including the last of the projects in the nursery and all of the baby clothes, bedding, etc. washed and put away.
DH's dad, step-mom, and middle brother are planning on coming for Christmas so we will once again have a full-house and hopefully, if baby hasn't come yet, we will be celebrating Christmas with my parents, sister, BIL and niece over the New Year.

5/12 - 7/12 - Lupron injections to suppress AF and reduce scar tissue
8/12 - Surgery to remove tissue, uterus and tubes clear!
9/12-12/12 - More BFN's!
1/13 - Referred to an RE
2/13 - IUI #1 with injects and new RE = BFN
3/13 - 4/13 - Break due to cysts
5/13 - IUI #2 with injects (125ml bravelle + trigger) = BFP!!!

*Feeling pretty great this week.
*Thanksgiving we went up to MI to visit my family for 5 days. It was great to see my family because we probably won't see them again before baby comes. But I was so glad to be home! Christmas we will spend Christmas Eve/morning with my mom and step-dad, then head over to the in-laws in the afternoon for dinner with DH's entire family.

Hi all. I have not been around. Quick update - My C-section was scheduled for Friday 11/29. I went into Labor very early Thanksgiving morning. I was in labor for a few hours and had a c-section due to my size and baby's size, same as DD#1. Hope McKinley was born 11/28 at 7:31am. She was 8lbs 15 oz. We were re-admitted after 2 nights home. Hope caught viral meningitis in the hospital, most likely due to a healthcare worker who did not wash their hands between patients. We are finally home and trying to get her weight and temps under control. She is going to make a full recovery. Happy to be home.
