Secondary IF

Pee. Pee on all the sticks!

I have found 2 new ways to keep my mind off of 2IF (as much as possible, anyway).

1. OPKs. My wondfos came and since there are 100 of them, I look forward to OPK time every day. I had two positives in a row and then negatives for the last 5 days (still a line, just light). I know it's a waste because OPKs after ovulation can't tell me a thing, but at least I feel like I'm doing something and only have to wait until each afternoon to test, haha. And an added bonus- right now I am expecting (and wanting!) negative results on the OPKs so it's not this big let down.

2. I'm learning to knit. And screw everyone else. I'm knitting myself a scarf. And it's taking forever. And I'm obsessed with finishing it. I haven't perseverated on anything like this in a long time. Like years. 2IF has completely consumed me and it's nice to get away from those chains for awhile!

How is everyone's weekend? Any new hobbies/interesting events?

Re: Pee. Pee on all the sticks!

  • It's snowing here this weekend! I want to get those OPKs so I can POAS everyday too! I think you are right, it would feel better to be dong something, anything! I just started a new job so that keeps me busy enough! No time for hobbies right now, but knitting sounds like fun

  • Snow! Most of ours melted and then we got a dusting but not much. We're set for some freezing rain and some ice tonight. I'm about as hopeful for a snow day as I am for winning the lottery but it sure would be nice!!
  • I just wanted to say that I love that you're knitting. I have about 10 pending sewing projects that preoccupy my time. Unfortunately they tend to occupy time that should be spent studying instead of taking my mind off of baby stuff but oh well. It's fun creating stuff all the same.
