Georgia Babies

Recommend a High risk pregnancy specialist

I'm posting this on behalf of my sister who's too distraught to do anything right now.

After several rounds of fertility treatment, my sister is 12 weeks pregnant with twins. Now one of the babies has low amniotic fluid according to the high-risk pregnancy specialist they are seeing.

My sister would like a second opinion and I thought that perhaps someone here could recommend a high fertility specialist.

Many, many thanks

Re: Recommend a High risk pregnancy specialist

  • I go to maternal fetal specialists and like them.
  • Atlanta Perinatal Consultants are great. They are located at Northside. I liked Dr. Mann and Dr. Stone. Wasn't as thrilled with Dr. Nathan.

  • I saw Dr. Nathan @ Atlanta Perinatal Consultants. I really liked him but he is very dry and straight to the point.

  • Atlanta Perinatal was great- saw most of the physicians and liked all except for Dr Matsumoto. Dr Korotkin was my MFM and loved him, Dr Mann also seemed knowledgable.

  • I loved Atlanta Perinatal and Dr. Mann. I had low amniotic fluid from 14 weeks on with my first and delivered at 37 weeks. She put me on bed rest at 18 weeks when it didn't improve and I was on "at home bedrest" until delivery. Good luck for your sister!
