My period after DS was much more bearable. But yeah, not looking forward to bleeding every month again. Hopefully it takes a while for my period to come back.

Yea, absolutely not looking forward to it. I usually get migraines leading up to my period and I've been lucky to not have any this pregnancy. Maybe things will be better after LO comes

With DS, my first period was when he was. 6 or 7 months old! Not all women get it right away when breastfeeding!

I haven't had an easy pregnancy, and I still am not looking forward to them. Lol I hate it! My periods are only like 3 days, but it just annoys the hell out of me.

Lol ! I thought about this the other day too. How I haven't missed it at all but with all the other weird pg things going on, I'm not sure which is worse. I have worn a liner everyday of this pg thanks to the weird slime plus being on progesterone suppositories.

hoping BF the first 6+ months will keep it away a little longer!

If you don't count PP bleeding my period didn't come back for a full year (actually 13 months) after DS was born due to BF'ing. It was great. Also, for the first time in my life my cycles became regular without the aid of BCP, which was slightly weird. Not that I minded - it's kind of nice to be regular.

I just took the tampons out of my purse that have been there all pregnancy. They are never there when I need them but have managed to stay put for a whole 8 months!

I just got my damn period 5 weeks after my damn c/s. I thought I felt ovulation a week ago. This shit sucks lol

Same here. It's really never bothered me but I've been fortunate that it's not super heavy and I have minimal cramping.

I'm afraid I was spoiled with DD because my period didn't come back until she was 13 months old (I EBFed until 12 months). I can only hope I hit that jackpot a second time!

Since I've EBF all of my kiddos, my periods don't usually return until almost a year post-partum so I still have a little more time

I was spoiled after I went through boot camp.... I didn't have my period for a year after that. Good times, hoping this'll be the case with BFing as well.

All you ladies who are lucky enough to be able to 1) use BC pills and 2) didn't get a period for MONTHS after because of BFing...I'm so jealous! I get headaches on BC, so we're on the careful + timing + condoms method, and I got a period 4 weeks after I stopped my PP bleeding. With all 3 kids. Now, with DS1, that's understandable, he wasn't exclusively BF, but my other 2 were.
