Had my first ultrasound today. LMP was October 19, which should put me around 7ish weeks... According to the ultrasound I am only about 5.5. Either the pregnancy has stopped growing :( or my dates are WAY off. (possible since I just had my mirena taking out in September) If that's the case, I will be an August mommy. Repeat ultrasound in 2 weeks. It's going to be a long wait.

    Thanks girls. It would make sense as to why my BFP took me being a WEEK late to get.. U/S showed gestational sac & yoke. I really hope I just end up being an early August momma. I'd love to stay with you girls tho <3 I've already been here 2 weeks! Getting to know all new people, ugh. I like you girls just fine! lol

    Hoping your dates are off! I had an u/s at 5w3d and all they saw was the two saks. The fact that both are there is a good thing. When you get good news at the next appointment I really hope you stay with us! :)

    Just wanted to offer some hope and say same thing happened to me. I measured 4-5 wks on ultrasound but should have been 7 wks by LMP. The U/S showed a gestational and yolk sac but no baby. We went back a week later for follow up u/s and saw baby & heartbeat. I was 5 wks 6 days at that time. Good luck and let us know how it goes.

    BFP#2 7/3/13.  U/S at 6w4d showed 1 heartbeat at 127 bmp and 2 empty sacs.  MMC discovered at 10w4d.  D&C 8/27/13.  Pathology showed normal boy.  Missing our babies every day.
    BFP#3 10/29/13!  Beta#1 at 4w5d - 2141, beta#2 at 5w1d - 7651!  U/S 11/21/13 showed baby measuring 2 days ahead with a heartbeat of 127 bmp!

    The same exact thing happened to me! According to my period- at the time I was nervous... I was suppose to be I think it was either 7 or 8 weeks and I was only measuring 5.5 weeks... They only saw the yolk sac but then I went back in 2 weeks and I saw the baby and heart beat! Do you ovulate late?? I ovulate about 4 days after the phone app suggests...

    My cycles can be really screwy when I'm not on BC.. so it's a big possibility that I ovulated late.. This next appointment can't come soon enough!
