PP period 9 weeks after having baby?!

Hi ladies! I had my son 9 weeks ago and I am exclusively breastfeeding him. Well, I am taking the mini- pill (Camila) that my doctor offered to me when I went to my pp checkup, which was 2 weeks ago. I just started taking the mini-pill last Sunday, and I noticed I had slimy- like discharge about a week before my pp checkup. When I began taking the mini-pill, I started spotting, and I didn't think anything of it because one of the side affects was spotting. Well tonight I noticed my pantiliner was satrarated with blood (sorry TMI, I know!) I'm just wondering if it's possible that this may be my period. I did not think it was possible if you were EB. I heard that women don't get their periods at least 4 months after having baby if EB. I'm freaking out because I've never taking any sort of birth control until now, and I'm wondering if my body's just freaking out because I am taking the mini-pill.
