If you had non disolving stiches or staples when did they remove them?

I had staples and they were removed the day I left the hospital - 4 days after DS was born.

My staples were removed the day we left the hospital. I was in the hospital 3 nights.

I had staples and they were removed the day I left the hospital. I had my c/s on a Saturday and left the hospital on a Tuesday.

I had the dissolving stitches so nothing was removed. However, the tape strips were taken off at my two week appointment and the stitches are almost totally dissolved after 4 weeks. Other women in the hospital who had staples got them removed on the day they left, or the night before.

Staples -- c-section on Saturday night and staples removed Tuesday afternoon before we checked out. They put steri-strips on the incision after the staples were removed. My MFM (or for you probably your OB) removed them at my 2 week pp checkup.

My staples were removed just before I left the hospital. They then put on tape strips. Those were removed at my 2 week appt.
