I know this may be a little to early for some Mamas on here, but I'm just wondering! Who has had sex after having baby? How was it?

I have my 6 week appointment next week. And, my hormones are back with a vengeance! DH and I have behaved though, we don't want any Irish twins. I will also be getting the IUD at my appointment. Then it is ON! I'm just a little worried what it will be like after having a baby.

Have the lube ready and try to remember patience. It can be a little *ahem* drier down there.
Not that we've DTD yet, but we've been to this rodeo before.
At best, you don't need any lube, but it's nearby just in case.

LO is 2 1/2 weeks old, I'm pretty excited that I can wipe with toilet paper again, but the thought of actually having sex makes me want to run and hide!!

Yeah LO is 3 days old and DH has already said something about it. Normally I can't get enough but 2 days is no where near enough time!!

I just got cleared at my 6 week appointment on Tuesday. I started Nuvaring the same day, and it takes a week to kick in. But we might pick up some condoms and give it a go this weekend....

I didn't tear during delivery, so I've only had to deal with PP bleeding... At 3 1/2 weeks PP now, the spotting is almost done... I don't think I'll be able to hold out 2 1/2 more weeks... Next week I might jump my SO.

I'm not not with PP bleeding (LO is only 15 days old) but I'm dying! I had a tubal so we'll definitely be waiting the full 6 weeks. The other night DH was kissing my neck which is his way of telling me he wants me to pleasure him. I totally ignored him since that just makes me want it more.

Glad I'm not alone, @SJacques7. I had sex a couple of nights ago. At 3w5d PP. I couldn't wait any longer. I had a RCS, bleeding stopped early last week, and I had a tubal so I don't have to worry about getting KTFU again. It was awesome. I regret nothing.

I was super in the mood like a week and a half PP, but I think I was just so in love with the idea of my husband being so good at the dad stuff (did not follow through on those urges lol). Now that my hormones have calmed down I have zero drive, but I'm only 4 weeks post c-section now.

Right before my 4 week check up (after c-section) I was ready to go!! I got the go ahead a few days later but I've got some muscle pain and am having surgery tomorrow to remove my gallbladder. And idk when I'll be ready pain wise. Which I'm sad about because our two year anniversary is the 10th. I was looking forward to having some sex. Sighh.

I got cleared on Monday at my 6 wk checkup and we tried today but it was too painful, even with lots of lube! :-( I had a vaginal delivery so I blame it on that! We'll try again soon!
