NWMR - SHORT Christmas card notes

I'm creating the family Christmas card this week. (DH and I take turns....it's my year). I want to include a short note - eg a few sentences about what our family has been doing this year - on the back of the card. I've received a few cards with pomes about the family etc in years past. That would be cute too. Does anyone have an example of a short note or poem they could share?
