I have to push pee out??!!

I'm 2 days post c section and I'm having trouble peeing. The first few times after catheter was removed the flow wasn't normal but at least when i sat it sort of just came out and now when I go I almost have to push out the pee. It takes me at least 10 min just to use the bathroom. Has anyone else experienced this???

    Yes, I definitely remember having to re-train those muscles.

    Yes! I got threatened by the nurse that I would have to get the cath back if I didn't start peeing. She actually used essential oils in the bathroom to help me. Between the that and the oils i managed to pee but it was a few daya before it wasn't a struggle.

    Its gotten better but 9 days post c I still don't have the strong urge to pee and when I do it doesn't always come out easily-I hope this goes away soon!

    Yes, this too shall pass! Hate to say it...but this is nothing compared to having to have a BM :( eww but true it's no fun. I'm 11 days out and things still aren't 100%

    I had to concentrate on relaxing to pee for like a week after my c section. But it got better every day. If it gets worse I'd be concerned.
