Has anyone's doctor mentioned if Emergen-C is okay to take? I have always sworn by the stuff. Of course I start feeling sick on Friday nights, after the office has closed for the weekend!

Idk. My bf tried making me drink a packet of it tonight but I turned it down. I'm sure it isn't bad but better safe then sorry

No it is not ok

. I asked my OB and my herbalist. Vitamin C in that high of doses can be dangerous to babies.

I would ask your doc. I did a google search and got people saying it's okay. I think I took it a couple times my first pregnancy and have once already this time. I will probably ask at my next appt because now I'm curious what my practice says and I don't remember from the first time.

I asked my nurse about Emergen-C last week as I was getting some sniffles and she said it was fine. I hate hearing conflicting responses, especially since I did take one last week!

I took it around 4 weeks because google said it was okay. ::adds Emergen-C to never ending list to ask doctor::

You can call and talk to someone on call, surely. I do it frequently. I come across something that I'm so curious about I can't wait until my appt or morning. Lol
