Bamboobies, anyone?

I'm a fire hose cow when my milk comes in. Nice picture, right? I'm the "I only use disposables" type BFing mom. However, I go thru so many nursing pads bc of my over production that I want to try using reliable washable ones. (I have to have a burp cloth ready under my boob to put over it right when baby is done nursing, or they will be showered!)

Anyway, I wanted to see if the reviews were all lies or if they actually do work.

Anyone use them and like them?

I used them when I was nursing DS. They are great. They are really soft, thin, and super absorbent. I won't use anything else, and I recommend them to anyone who asks.

I have both the regular heart-shaped ones and the round heavy-duty overnight ones, and they are both good but I really never needed anything other than the regular.

I think I leaked through them once and it was overnight when DS slept through a feeding and I got engorged.

My friends raved about these, so I got a few pair. I balked at the price, but if they work, that is all that matters!

Oh, if you like Bamboobies on facebook they periodically will sell single pairs at .01 each. You still have to pay the shipping (which is about $4.00) but they are still cheaper than full price.

I am in the same boat! I've tried several reusable ones but I produced SO much that they were soaked in no time and I'd have milk on my shirt which is no fun when you're in public. So I finally switched to Lansinoh disposables and those seem to work best. I will have to look into Bamboobies though!

Used Bamboobies with DS and loved them. Got a three pack half off and later got a free set, just paid shipping. Look for sales and promotions.

Haven't ever heard of bamboobies, but I'm an over producer too. I might have to look into them!

I have heard about the let down catcher, called a Milkie I think. A blogger I followed used one, and said she could get a bottle of stored breast milk a day, just with that! I'll see if I can find a link on amazon
