teething question

Hi everyone. Sorry if this is a stupid question - im a FTM! I think my baby is teething and I can sort of feel a bump on the backside of her gums. First off, is that where i'm supposed to feel a tooth on the backside of her gums?? and if this is indeed a tooth, will it make its appearance in 5 days or so? Thanks in advance.

    FTM here so I don't know, but I thought you usually feel them on top of the gums.

    My son teethed for almost 2 months long before we saw or felt any teeth. He was 5 months old when he got his two bottom teeth. I would say they are half way now and he will be 6 months old on Thursday.
