Hiccups

Hey ladies this is my first time posting on this board. I just have birth to my little boy last Saturday! He was born at 35 weeks but is very heathly other than some jaundice. But my question is after every feeding ( currently pumping and bottle feeding) he gets the hiccups really bad. Doctors said its because he needs to burp but he burps after every feeding and still has them. Any suggestions on preventing them or getting rid of them?

    Gripe water (Little Remedies brand) takes them away instantly about 80% of the time. I only give it to him if the hiccups are preventing him from eating or falling asleep, otherwise they don't really bother him so I just let them run their course.
