May I intro? (older child siggy warning)

Hello ladies. I hope you will have me. I'm AMA, diabetic, with Hashimotos's thyroidosis, IBS and severe psoriasis. Needless to say it took awhile to get our 2nd bfp and I was very anxious the whole time. Unfortunately, I found out on Monday that our baby was measuring behind where it should've been. I knew at that point that it was over, but our OB wanted to wait to confirm next week. I had been charting and knew when we conceived so I had no hope and really just wanted things to proceed naturally. I miscarried yesterday which was very difficult but I am grateful that I'm not sitting here waiting for it to happen anymore.

I have our follow up appt with the OB next week and believe we will be given the green light to try again right away. We plan on waiting until January at the earliest assuming my body cooperates. I guess that's only a month away, though.

Contrary to my long list of issues, I feel good and am very active. Love working out, doing Zumba and running. I generally eat a modified paleo type diet (with indulgences thrown in). I take good care of myself and love talking fitness with others. I an inveterate wanderer with a constant urge to travel. I've been around tb for a long time and am happy to offer a little honest snark done lovingly with a pinch of humor. I look forward to offering and receiving support.

Looks like I belong in the Juky Sparklers check in. Should I just intro in there?

    I am sorry for your loss.  (((hugs))) Although I'm sorry for what brings you here I am glad you will be joining us on your TTCAL journey.  If you haven't yet you will want to read the TTCAL blog - it is full of useful information.  Here's the link... clicky. You will also want to lurk around the board for a few days too to get a feel for the board. 

    Of course you are welcome here but you may be interested to know there is also a Miscarriage and Pregnancy Loss board under the specialty category.  I found it a great source of comfort as there are women there who are fresh from their loss as well.

    Thanks for the ticker warning - Just a heads up, usually pictures of babies in signatures can also be hurtful to some women  - most here do not have the blessing of living children, so photos can be hard to look at.  Although your Cheekers (who is super adorable) is a bit older so I'm not sure what the reception will be. Just something to think about.

    Thank you so much @dajhughes. I had a chance to lurk the board and read the ttcal blog this week as I was waiting for my loss to be confirmed. I certainly do not want to cause any problems with my siggy so I am open to removing it if that would be more comfortable. I had thought the blog said older children were ok but I know that things can change.

    You are awesome - thanks for lurking and reading the blog.  I just mentioned as a possibility.  Like I said he's a bit older so he may be fine...I've been blessed by adoption and have a DS of my own so photos are a bit easier for me.  I just wondered what the reception might be for this photo for others.  I'd see how others feel before you make any changes.  

    Thanks for being open - it sounds like you'll be a great addition to the community.  Although I hope you're stay here is short and sweet and that you can move on to PGAL soon.

    Welcome to the board and sorry for your loss.  I have no children and just lost my first pregnancy, this pic does not bother me, it gives me hope!  :)

    Me 34 DH 31, Together since 2003, Married August 20, 2011,  TTC since May 2013
    BFP #1 August 24, 2013! MMC discovered Oct. 3, 2013, D&C Oct. 4, 2013
    BFP #2 December 17, 2013! MMC discovered Jan. 28, 2014, D&C Jan. 30, 2014
    Testing done: male with complete Trisomy 16, not hereditary. Tested me for clotting disorders, all normal.
    Feb. 2014 all clear again to TTC!  Will start progesterone supplementation with the next BFP just in case.       Oct. 2014 more testing just because, thyroid and autoimmune panels = normal.  Diagnostic U/S = no abnormalities.  Will keep trying for 3-6 more months, doctor still optimistic!

    BFP #3 December 11, 2014!  Beta #1 14DPO = 122.4 Beta #2 17DPO = 296.8 Please stick little one and be our Rainbow!

            Perfect little heartbeat of 156 seen 1/7/15 :)

    **BFP#1 9/5/12   EDD 5/15/13  changed to 5/25/13 after u/s,  missed mc 10/19/12.  D and C 10/22/12** 
     **BFP#2 9/12/13  EDD 5/16/14 changed to 5/27/14 after u/s, hb 126 on 10/11/13, miscarriage on 10/24.13**
    ~RPL testing results from 12/6/13 show everything normal except elevated prolactin. Blood work is now in the normal range. All AL welcome!
