I have been posting in the PgAL board, but this board fits me, too. I am 38. DH is 41. 

We didn't get married until I was 34. We waited a few years to try, had a bfp last year that ended in a mmc at 8 weeks, and we had been trying since then with no luck. Finally went to an RE for a full work-up and we were gearing up for our first IUI when my period proved to be stubbornly late. Surprise! BFP. (We had been given a less than 2 percent chance of conceiving naturally, so I was totally shocked.)

    Congratulations! So exciting! :) I am 39 and PG with #3. #1 is 14 & #2 is 3 y.o. Had years of infertility between #1 & #2. Then surprise! PG w/ this little one out of the blue. Happy for you!

    Me-41, Hubby-40.
    1st BFP-8/17/12!  Missed Miscarriage discovered @ 8 week US.  D&C.
    2nd BFP-2/13/13!  Blighted Ovum discovered @ 8 week US. Natural miscarriage.
    3rd BFP-5/22/13!  By early June, progesterone plummeting.  Another loss.
    August 2013 - started Donor Egg process, but surprise BFP with my own eggs.
