Sittercity or Care.com

in Toddlers: 12 - 24 Months
Hi ladies, I'm trying to find a nanny for my 16 month old DD and I'm trying to get some advice. Have any of you ladies used either site and would recommend one over the other and if so why. My husbands cousin who used to nanny recommended sittercity over care.com but I wanted to get some advice from other moms. Thanks in advance.

    I've used Care.com to find a babysitter.  It was really easy and I'm happy with all the sitters I found.  I posted a job and had almost 10 responses.  I now have a list of 5 babysitters I can use when we need a night out.

    I never officially signed up for sittercity, but I preferred Care.com

    I used care.com.  We needed someone to watch LO part time in our house when I went back to work. We found a couple of suitable individuals and did interviews. I liked the background checks/info they provided on the caregivers. Our part time nanny worked out great and she was excellent with LO.

    Thanks ladies. I actually felt the same way as you LauraT25 in regards to getting a lot of responses on care. I signed up for sittercity and I'm interviewing someone tomorrow so fingers crossed.
