  By the way, if you visit https://www.ExperimentingWithBabies.com, you can see a rundown of the projects in the book, ordered by age.  There are a bunch that are appropriate for your 13/14-month-olds, so you can start experimenting right away, and the book takes you all the way to 24 months.
