Godparent Gifts

Hi all! We have a relatively unreligious family, so my LO's baptism is kind of new for me. I was just wondering if we should give gifts to the godparents? If you did, what kind of gifts did you give? Our godparents aren't very religious either. In fact, one is just a "Christian Witness" because he didn't receive all his sacraments.

We didn't give gifts for the actually baptism, but for Christmas we will be giving them gifts from the baby. For the Godmother we bought a heart shaped ceramic ring dish from etsy with godmother and the date on it. For LO's Godfather I was thinking a personalized belt buckle...not 100% about that yet.

I was going to frame a picture of DD with her godparents, put it in a nice frame, and give it to them but I never got around to it. Like @KMck27, we are giving special little gifts from DD to her godparents. Her godmother is getting an LED Christmas candle. I'm not sure what the godfather is getting yet.

Good ideas here. We didn't give baptism gifts. But for the godmother My son is giving her a godmother charm for her Pandora bracelet for Cheistmas.

For DS's baptism, we had earrings made with DS's birth stone and for the godfather, we got him a watch. I am giving them a frame for christmas, with DS's picture in it with each one of this godparents.

Thanks for all the great ideas! The baptism is 3 days before Christmas (worst idea ever), so I will just make it their Christnas gift.
