It "flows", but I always associate Spencer with a boy....and I associate Kate with a girl....so combinding the two just seem too odd for my liking. So I vote dislike.
I love last names as first names, especially on girls, but this is just too much. If you must use it for a girl, please consider Katherine Spencer. It's guaranteed that she will always have things addressed to Mr. Spencer K. Lastname.
I like it. All the Spencer's I know IRL are boys, but there is a female character on Pretty Little Liars who is named Spencer, and I think the name works well on her.
Tv shows can afford bad names because it's not real life. Please don't.
To be fair pretty little liars is based on a book series. But moot point i suppose.
While i dont love the name on a girl I dont hate it, but if your going use Spencer on a girl i think you should use a traditional feminine middle name.
I'm going to agree that Spencer is a terrible name for a little girl, but chime in that "Spencer Kate" would make me think you have some kind of Katharine Hepburn obsession (or Spencer Tracy obsession, one of the two)
"Hello, babies. Welcome to Earth. It's hot in the summer and cold in the winter. It's round and wet and crowded. At the outside, babies, you've got about a hundred years here. There's only one rule that I know of, babies. God damn it, you've got to be kind."

Re: WDYT??
This is the reason DH wont consider Spencer for future DS and it irritates me to no end.

I dislike it. I know others don't think so, but to me, Spencer is too masculine.
Don't.
