It has been icing off and on. We had a half day today at school. I really do not want a snowday tomorrow bc we already only have two weeks this month of real schooling. Our last week is parties and assemblies yada yada. Plus Fridays are our assessment days. However DD1 has been praying for snow nightly and I would love to see her excitement if we get the snow that is being predicted.

Heat wave! No, seriously. Schools are closed, busses have stopped running. Its warm enough that its raining some and the roads are a solid complete sheet of ice.

its 21 degrees here! We had a huge snowstorm on Tuesday and for the first time in 30 years the roads up to my house was closed, we hung out a daycare with all the other moms and kids who couldn't go home until the roads opened.

No PIP, but our high is 9 degrees and our low is -3! Lots of ice and some snow on the ground.

Here's another! About 10 inches and a few more on the way. We are wimps here in southern Illinois, everything is closed!

Today the high is single digits, sunny. We had snow, but a few days ago it was in the 50s and it all melted. But forecast says more on Sunday. Tomorrow we had plans to go to an outdoor art crawl, and it's supposed to be below zero with wind chill. I still kind of want to go. It's been a long time since we've had a date night.
