When did you see heartbeat?

I know many go in "too early" to see the heartbeat.

At what point did you go in for ultra sounds?

And at what point did you see the hb for the first time?

We went in at 5 weeks and just saw a sac, then at 6 w 3d we saw a HB of 139. GL

My clinic has you wait until you are approximately 7 weeks along to do the first u/s. We went in at 6w6d and saw the heartbeat.

I saw the hb at 6w1d but they wouldn't give me a count at that time. They counted it at 6w6d.

My first u/s was at 5w6d and we just saw the gestational sac, yolk sac and fetus/fetal pole--no heartbeat yet. I went back 10 days later at 7w3d and we had a strong heartbeat.

We saw the h/b at 6w1d but were not expecting to. My due date eventually got moved up by 5 days so I actually might have been further along than we knew at that point.

i saw it was 6w3d but i went to the ob at 5w5d bc of a yeast infection, she was so excited and wanted to see for herelf, she claimed to see a flicker but I didn't see it.

in the 6th week we saw the heartbeats- with both pregnancies. This time they were still pretty slow- the doc said they had started the day before- and had we come in that day we would not have seen them -so ever day matters early on!

6w2d = three (!) sacs and two heartbeats.

My RE won't do an u/s until 7 weeks because he doesn't want to worry us unnecessarily. We saw Rhett's heartbeat when we went in for that u/s.

We saw it at 5 weeks 5 days. It had just started beating and was not even measurable at that point.

I had my first u/s in the emergency room at 5w5d (dates are for sure since we did IVF). At that point we were surprised to see everything... gestational sac, yolk sac, fetal pole, and the heartbeat. The h/b was pretty slow... probably had just started beating.
