First Time Mommies?

Is there a board specifically for first timers? Sometimes I feel like a little kid reading through all the posts of women who are on their 3rd or 4th pregnancy. I'd like a board for newbies like myself who are all fumbling through it together. Thoughts?

I don't think so.

You can always introduce yourself as a FTM. I'll bet people will come out of the woodwork if you do.

I'm also a FTM. LO is 3 months old and she is my first. I'm no expert by any means but if you have any questions I would be happy to try my best. When is you baby due?

@TexasGirl81 Due May 21st, but with my Type I diabetes, I've been told that I may deliver earlier than that, depending on a lot of variables. What about you? We're close, I think.

I am a first timer! Very early on. Only about 5 weeks and haven't been to the doc yet. I have been married to my high school sweetheart for 2 1/2 years (together for almost 9) and we finally decided we are moderately stable financially and could maybe go ahead and start trying. It was hard to wait so long because we both want kids and have family and friends who are having them left and right, but we really wanted to be responsible about it. I finally got a teaching job and he will commission as an officer in the Air Force in a year and a half, plus came into a little extra cash to pay off some debt, so we figured it seemed like a good time to start. Two months off the pill and one month TTC and got that second line on the test! Sooooo very excited and hoping hard for a boy.

I've had a stepchild....but not a baby. I'm a FTM as well and nervous as hell! Luckily, my fiancé has been through all of this so he is supportive. I just don't know what to expect!

@Elf2718 I have two stepsons as well, although they live 8 hours away, so we don't get to see them often. Part of me is glad my husband has been through this, part of me is sad that we don't get to figure it out together.

Although, that being said... he is pretty clueless. Especially about all the pregnancy/delivery stuff. He just likes to pretend he can change a diaper. In the end, it probably won't matter.

Not only am I a FTM but I am a FTP (first time poster). I am 19weeks pregnant with twin boys! Due date is June 12 but twins will be here early (in May)

TaylorHam86 i understand what you mean. I am a FTM & poster. I'm 5 weeks along. I have a 6 1/2 year old stepson. It's super fun & exciting to be going through this. Occasionally I wish my husband were going through this for the first time. But.. it is what it is. Your husband is going through it the first time with you. Which makes it so special and new.

I'm a FTM as well, due September 19th so pretty early along. DH and I are so excited but I have a little bit of nervous thrown in there with the excitement, mostly about the unknowns. I've only lurked on here until now but im hoping to make some friends and share experiences and insight with all you ladies!
