  @Laurski81 Your opinion is tainted!  Wine makes everything better.  Although, if I were to drink and watch this I would be afraid that Vampire Bill would eat Carrie Underwood.  It could happen!

  I liked it! The acting was a little bad especially at first, but I thought it was a fun idea to do it live. It's snowy here and I was snuggled in with hot cocoa and I thought it was a pleasant way to spend the evening.
  I will clarify a few things though:
  -I've seen the original once I think, but don't have the attachment to it I know many do
  -Carrie's from OK so I have a soft spot for her
  -I love musicals and DH hates them so this was the closest thing to going to the theatre I've had in a while

  @MissMusic What?!  It's a Julie Andrews classic and she's basically the best thing ever.  Next you're going to say that you don't like The Princess Diaries.
  
  All in all, I think this live show just needed a different Maria.  Carrie Underwood is an excellent singer but her acting really killed the entire show.  I'm sure acting in a live show is extremely difficult so she should probably just leave it to the professionals.
