I really wasn't going to start a whole new post for this, but then I didn't know where to put it. Baby is measuring 2 days ahead and still beating its little heart. It is starting to look more like a fetus, and we could see a spine, four limb buds, and the beginning of its brain.
My RE graduated us with big hugs and made us promise to keep them updated and bring in the baby after it's born.

We're queer. I'm 33, have severe stage 4 endo, and had both fallopian tubes removed. My love ("Manada" on the boards, 32) was diagnosed with diminished ovarian reserve. We did Partner IVF (my eggs, her uterus). We lost our twins Tavin and Casey at 21 weeks gestation.
Our IUIs
with @Manada: IUI# 1-7 (December 2012- September 2013) all BFN. Tried natural, femara, clomid, puregon/follistim, clomid and menopur combo, both the ovidrel and HCG triggers.
Our IVFs:
IVF #1 my eggs November/December 2013: Cancelled IVF due to poor response
IVF #2 my eggs/Manada's uterus January/February 2014
BCPs and lupron overlap Stimmed: 1/22-2/2: Bravelle and Menopur (dosage ranged from B300 and M150 to B375 and M150 to B300 and M225)
2/4 retrieved 10 eggs. Endo was much worse than expected. Only 3 eggs fertilized; February 7 transferred two day 3 embryos, froze one. All great condition.
BFP eve of 6dp3dt; Beta 1 (11dp3dt): 110; Beta 2 (13dp3dt): 175; Beta 3 (15dp3dt): 348; Beta 4 (19dp3dt): 2222; Beta 5 (21dp3dt): 4255

We've been working on baby #1 since July 2013 using Open ID donor sperm. 8 IUI attempts with 5 actual IUIs and one chemical pregnancy. We have one fresh IVF cycle under our belts as well as a FET. I have endometriosis and a uterine septum that was corrected via surgery in November 2013.
11/14/14 - Second HSG shows that tubes are still clear and ute is looking good.
12/6/14 - Started BCPs in prep for IVF #2
12/22/14 - Saline u/s and endometrial scratch (All was clear and OUCH!)
1/2/15 - Began stimming for IVF #2

At the last u/s, the hb was 144. This time it came in at 141. I know some variation is normal -- even within the same appointment, the machine was picking up a slightly different rate with each reading. BUT I read some stuff indicating that fetal heart rates go UP about 3 bpm each week at this point, and that the "normal" range for 8w is 149-159 or something like that. A lot of people seem to have hbs in the 170-180 range at 8w. I would be a LOT more comfortable if it had gone up, not down.
Now, my RE seemed happy with everything and said that she had a "good feeling" about this one. I've also read several things saying that a normal fetal heart rate in the first trimester is 120-160. So maybe it's fine, but now that I've opened up the possibility that it's not, I can't sleep. Stupid, stupid, stupid. I should have just left well enough alone.
Anyone who knows more about fetal heart rates than I do (which would be almost everyone), please feel free to tell me I'm being an idiot.

Secondly, don't drive yourself crazy lady lol that heart rate is great! It def can vary a lot, my peanut is generally between 140- 160.It also depends what baby is up to at the time of the reading... If baby is sleeping it's lower, squirming around it'll be higher. No more googling things lol
I vote with @YBnormal85 - Stay away from Google!!!
I Google things too all the time and tend to freak myself out over nothing. My wife always scolds me for this! If the HR was anything to be concerned about, especially given your history, your RE would have said something and would have never graduated you.
Our HR has ranged from 163-180, but is always different at every appointment. Also, I find that time of day makes a difference. My RE appointments were always in early morning, and that is when we would get the highest HR readings. Now that I am with the OB, my appointments are always in the late afternoon, and the HR has always been almost 20 bpm lower. It could be that baby is resting at that time, like YBnormal85 suggested.
At any rate, it is totally understandable for you to be apprehensive, but I think all is well!

That said, you know I get it and I'm so sorry you read that. It's hard to relax the PAGL brain when everything isn't text book. I realize it's scary, and I don't blame you for looking it up at all. Your next u/s is next week right?
Until then, try to trust your baby and believe s/he is your take-home baby!!

My wife is mamosey and we just had a convo with our ob about heart rates. They want to see them fluctuate, it's a sign of a healthy heart. Just as ours go up and down so should baby's.
I won't tell you to stop worrying, you're going to be a mom. That's what we do! What helped us was getting a Doppler. It turned out to be a sanity saver. If was nice to get the reassurance we needed especially in the first 2 trimesters when your appts are only once a month.
Secondly, the nurse said that variation is normal and she would have felt fine about anything over 120. I’m not sure I would have felt fine about it – I’m glad it’s 167! – but either way it seems like I have nothing to worry about right now.
Cue normal breathing. I think I’ll sleep better tonight. Thank you to everyone who sent encouraging messages!
