When do you plan on having baby #2?

I'm just wondering, because me an DH decided to start trying sometime around March, when DD's 9-10 months. I'd really like to have them in between 20-24 months-that would be ideal. What about you?

We want to start TTC in June, but its possible that we may push that back as much as an entire year. 3yrs apart is the maximum space between, ideally. We will judge it by Ab's temperament and our finances.

We decided to take the IUD out next September. They recently changed the cut off age for entering Kindergarten in our state to August 31st and DH and I want the kids to be two grades apart. I think 3 grades apart is too big of a gap. If we conceive in October or November the baby will be due July/August. I wanted one at the end of the summer because it was awful being stuck inside so much because of the heat. Ideally the baby would be born the end of August because I could get enough paid maternity leave to make it through the end of the year.

we have been thinking about when DS is about 10 months. But there are a few things we are wanting to do around that time as well so we may push it back to when DS is about 1.

I'm ready now but DH is not haha

Same here plus his biological math abilities are non existent. He wants the kids two grades apart like he and his sister were. So doing the math, the latest we could hold off was October/November and he looked at me like I had 3 heads. He didn't account for the "baking" time another LO needs. He was like "oh we want them two years apart so we'll try in two years".... men

I will be trying for baby #4 when A is 1. We were tempted to try right away but I am really enjoying this time alone with A. I decided the best timing for us is any time after she is a year.

Edit to clarify. I have 3 kids but two are teenagers so when I say time alone with A, I mean with her as the only baby and alone when they are doing their own thing.

We want to go to state adoption classes starting in January so it could be sooner or it could be several years.

We also want to wait until at least her first birthday to try biologically since I had an emergency extraction, and a year is ideal for recovery. It took us a long time for her though, so we will see if we get ANY choice in our timing.

I am enjoying this time though so I'm not in much of a rush.

DH wants me pregnant the moment DD turns 1. I'd honestly rather wait until she was 18 months but I don't think I'll be winning that battle

I want to try for LO #4 when DD is 3-4 years old. I've had them 17 and 18 months apart and I'm not ready to be pregnant again anytime soon. I do want another though.

We need H to finish school which will be around May 2015, have him get a job, and once I do get pregnant then we need to find a bigger house. So there are a lot of factors, but I am hoping we can TTC around Fall/winter 2015. And M is definitely all that I can handle right now!

In our case it will be baby #3 and I'm not entirely sold on that one yet. If we TTC it will be close to DS2's 2nd birthday.

I do wish my DS1 and DS2 were closer in age though. They are 3 months shy of being 3 years apart and the new baby and turning 3 all at the same time did a number on DS1's behavior. He was always the most laid back and happiest kid on the block and honestly the change was quite shocking to me. He is still sweet, but is a lot different.

For us, it's as soon as we have accrued enough paid leave to cover FMLA. TTC will probably be next year at this time so the babies are about 2 years apart.

We are thinking when LO is 2 years old. But I'm not completely sol on the idea yet. We are saving everything anyway just in case.

We may be one and done...but are also open to the possibility of adoption a few years down the line. I want to see how the toddler years go first.
