Hello ladies.
I had a preventative cerclage placed at 13wks and started progesterone injections at 16wks. I'm now 19wks, at our appt today with our MFM we found that I had funneling up to the cerclage itself. So essentially, the fetal membranes are resting right on top of the stitch. The Dr. recommended that I "stay off my feet and take it easy" which I'm assuming is something like modified bed rest. DH and I are trying to stay positive but given our history (2 second trimester losses, both at 21wks. First one was due to placental abruption, second was incompetent cervix which led to ptl) we're nervous that something could go terribly wrong before we reach viability...

Has anyone had a similar experience? Were you able to make it full term or at least close? And if course if you have any advice, I'm all ears.
Re: Looking for success stories/advice
If it helps, my mom was diagnosed with IC (due to DES exposure as a fetus) in 1982, after a 21 week loss. She went on to have 5 successful pregnancies (84, 86, 90, 96, and 98)--I'm her first success. That was before any of the other interventions were common. (P17/procardia)
dx PCOS 2007
BFP #1 (natural) 12/23/2010. Stillbirth due to IC 4/2/2011

Our Angel was born sleeping at 20 weeks due to IC.
Many T&Ps to you that your cervix holds strong well after viability and LO can cook for as long as possible.
