Need Ideas

We have 5 Nieces and nephews and instead of buying each a gift for Christmas we are thinking we are going to plan a sleepover and have them spend an entire weekend with us and the baby. We plan on taking them to a playground called castle park (it is awesome) and maybe a few other activities, plus pizza and ice cream and whatnot. Their parents all say that their children don't need anything that is why we were thinking this would be great. Problem is, I don't know how we could present this in a fun way on Christmas to the kids. Two of them are 8 years old, one four year old and the youngest are both 2. I know that there are very creative ladies here so I figured I would reach out... Thanks!

Can you get inexpensive pjs for them to wear at the sleep over, with a card explaining the details? Then at least there is some "thing" for them to unwrap.

Could you have a station on Christmas to design shirts that all the kids can wear on the day of the sleepover? (Table set up with plain t-shirts and have fabric paint/markers and they can write and draw all over the shirts.)

Or you could turn it Christmas into a scavenger hunt and have random things tht they need to find and bring to your house for the slumber party. You hide the things throughout the house you're celebrating Christmas at and give them clues to find everything. Then the last clue can say something like "bring all items to Aunt X's house on x/x/x for your final present- a slumber party!" (Ie- nail polish, a DVD, toothbrush, makeup, paints, toy cars, tent, etc).

Thanks everyone!! I @lisarene77 and @blondiebia21 I LOVE the scavenger Hunt idea plus pj's!! Both are really great!! @jessicaivana I got the idea from something someone posted either on here of FB. I plan on asking the same once LO is older

Maybe one of the items they find on the hunt could be a "golden ticket" type of thing ... You must present this to enter etc...

Just want to say these are all such great ideas! I have 3 nephews (thru DH) and this sounds like a great idea, but the youngest one wouldn't have it. He would ask to go home after 1 hour max lol. Oh and there is a "castle park" in my area too.. But I'm sure that's not uncommon.

I have absolutely no creative thoughts to add, I just wanted to say we also have a castle park and your sleepover sounds fun!! And I would buy yourself a bottle of wine for after they leave lol hehe
